Emotional Control Card
Bshs312 - Emotional control is when a person or individual tries to control their emotions from either anger, fear, anxiety, sadness, love or any other type of emotions. I chose this technique because I take care of a child who was diagnosed with Autism at the age of one and this plays a major role in emotional control. Autism is a developmental disorder that appears in the first 3 years of life, and affects the brain's normal development of social and communication skills. Children that are Autistic have different cases. Some may have a mild case or a severe case, meaning their emotions are sometimes anger. Most children who are diagnosed have difficulty regulating their emotions and maintaining a calm state. Bshs 312
It 284 - The child I keep sometimes cry and I never know why because he does not talk often. He expresses his emotions by crying, laughing or getting angry. Most of the time when he gets angry he has a hard time controlling his emotions. Over the years I have learned that getting eye level to talk to a child who is Autistic helps. They do not interact with others because of the emotional control. Music is something that is used in Autism therapy because it is the ability to get into the deepest emotions. This technique has helped me due to the fact of knowing the different things to do to control emotions. I feel that it will help others in the same way because some people may not know how to control certain emotions. The emotional control gives good techniques and effectiveness. It 284
